Ingredients for Adobong Baboy


1. Isang kilo ng pork picnic o side bacon belly (Hiwain ng pa cube sized)
2. Tatlong tablespoon ng mantika
3. Isang cup ng suka
4. Isang head garlic na hiniwa (portioned into two)
5. Isang teaspoon peppercorn
6. Isang cup ng tubig
7. Kalahating cup ng toyo
8. At tatlong piraso ng laurel (bay leaves)



Procedure sa pagluto ng Adobong Baboy

1. In a deep skillet, brown pork in oil.
2. Add a vinegar, soy sauce, first portion of garlic, laurel, peppercorn and water.
3. Bring to a boil, lower the fire and cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
4. When it gets too dry just add 1/2 cup of water.
5. Cover and let simmer until pork becomes tender.
6. In another pan, cook remaining garlic until golden-brown.
7. Add pork and pour the rest of the adobe sauce.
8. Serve hot.

First
